This is exactly what I like about Nintendo. You dont feel like an idiot for paying 40 because the game wont suddenly drop to 10€ withing a week. So you can buy day1 without worrying about stuff like that.
Thats way better than the constant price drops which results in smart people waiting a year to get a game at 90% discount and then devs whining about noone buying their games for full price anymore.
That price dumbing resulted in me completely ignoring third party games(excenpt Jrpgs) on consoles. I have 500+games on steam now because I paid like 5bucks for Farcry3 etc. NO way I will pay 60 anymore.
