not really, since a launch day PS4 is exactly the same as a regular PS4. LOL. WTF? In fact the only "difference" was Amazon segregating the PS4's they had available for launch.
Whereas the Day 1 Xbox is actually a different SKU (different color box, some writing on the controller etc, and an achievement, that I know of)
Besides also that in that case it would just be the same as a regular PS4, while with X1 day 1 you give up the free game you get by buying a non-day 1 edition, a $60 value.
To sum it up:
Titanfall bundle X1=499
Forza 5 bundle X1=499
Day One edition X1-no game included =499
You see there is incentive to NOT buy the day 1 edition. Just depends if you value the day one stuff more than a free game.
