I'm sure that the idea of the gamepad offering the 'best' gameplay experience is extremely subjective. Also, third party software almost never does best on Wii U out of all platforms. Also, traditionally multiplatform software does best on the other two systems. All of these considerations taken together make your contention that the Wii U will be the second place platform, after PS4, out of PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360 seem rather weak to me. If more people thought like you, the Wii U wouldn't be doing so poorly. I don't perceive the single-touch, 480p screen that has a rapidly draining battery as offering me better gameplay than a standard controller.
