I'm not falling for the MGS4 hype. I was a big fan of the first game on PS1. But MGS2 has to be one of the most overhyped, overrated games ever, and it fell far short of my expectations. Subsequent titles were no better. I can't help but feel that MGS4 has deserted its roots and now looks far too much like the Splinter Cell series.
Although I don't own a PS3, I will still check it out nevertheless just to see if it matches the hype. Who knows, it might even convince me to buy a PS3. I'm actually looking forward to GTA4 and GT5.
