I will never, ever understand why some people can only like a game if a big company made it. I really don't give a rat's ass if a game is made by a big publisher, a small studio, or a small 'indie' team. I only care if I like the game or not.
I will also never understand why people complain about ports. Ports are awesome. More people get a chance to play a game on the system of their choice. The argument against ports is one of the silliest things I've ever heard.
I'm fine with DLC. I don't get the hatred. There is tons of quality DLC out there. If anyone wants to hate, they should hate on "bad DLC", not all DLC. It's like someone hating all fruit because they got a rotten apple before.
As for micro-transactions, I'm fine with them if they DO NOT change the game around them. Seriously, let rich kids subsidize my gaming habit. Let them give more money to the developers so they can keep making games. That works for me.
Basically, I only complain on a case-by-case basis.
