I've read the same GAF report, that's why I was asking. It's not that it's a great inconvenience, but I play always at night, and it does tend to glow a lot, so I just used some neatly cut electrical tape and covered it.
Now it does not bother me, but it sure does drain the controller's battery, even when I'm just watching Baseball or Crunchyroll.
It's annoying when the controller cuts off, and all of the sudden my headphones stop working, and the TV starts balsting sound at 2 am (happened a couple of times, now I'm much more careful).
