The speed limit implies that it is something like a rural highway. She does not seem to be speeding as it is said she is going 90 km/h on a 80 km/h road. Converted into mph that would be about 56 mph on a 50 mph road. |
In most countries cyclists ALWAYS have the right of way, same with pedestrians.
Drivers are protected by steel, plastic and other alloys, cyclists and pedestrians aren't, thus by extension, they should logically have priority of the road to ensure their safety.
A few years back, I had a silly old bat drive me off the road while I was on my motorbike, thankfully being a dirt bike it wasn't much drama as I do plenty of bush bashing anyway, but what if it was a kid on a push bike?
Thankfully she was also advertising her car for sale, so I got the phone number and gave her a piece of my mind.
