I've been all over California.

Yosemite is absolutely incredible, an unforgettable experience. Don't worry about Mario Kart, enjoy the vacation.

Also The Giant Sequoia's (the largest trees in the world) are right next door, also an amazing place. Forget about Video games for a week.
