Remember I come from retail. When I see choices that arent going to drive hardware or software they surprise the hell out of me because I look at it from a salesman point of view.
But yeah my first thought was that the console must still either sell at a loss or close to cost. Its clear at this point Nintendo have given up on marketshare and are instead totally focused on driving a profit
