I expected that their sales would be remarkably poor because the majority of console owners buy their console after it costs less than $200; I noticed how many people said that they liked the XBox 360 at launch but thought it was way too expensive. Many analysts and Sony Fanboys argued that the PS3 was going to be one of the best selling consoles out of the gate; that everyone has a HDTV and was looking for a Blu-Ray player so $600 was a bargain.
