Its too bad then. You missed Twilight Princess since you bailed on the entire series because of the direction of one game (which was by most considered a classic). I am not going to argue about your taste, FF XII was fun to me. FF XIII was a good game in itself but as a FF a disapointment. The only true steaming pile of turd mainline FF was FFXIV original, the other just were not great in a series where greatness had become expected. But again, that is your opinion that those game suck.

I am not calling out your taste in games as that is about what you like and it does not matter who else does got it. What I am calling out is your faulty logic. Every game should be given a shot. That shot might be reading one or 2 reviews then saying nope not for me, maybe you dive in and buy, maybe its a rental.

Funny enough Donkey Kong TF has mr buying a Nintendo again this year. As a nice secondary console.

On FF sorry I disagree. FF13 was a terrible game and an even more terrible FF. Im not here to change your opinion. I simply was answering the thread title as to why FF14 is not a BIG exclusive. No FF will ever be a big exclusive ever again. Unless Square makes a game where everyone catagorically agrees that FF16 or something is best the FF ever made. If that ever happened, then I might just buy an FF game again.

But right now Im not even remotely interested to read anything about an FF game. If only Hironobu Sakaguchi could lift the series he created. But thats never going to happen.
