Why do we hate the Average Consumer?

Because those people let themselves get tricked and buy Call of Duty, Madden, etc. yearly which causes the companies to keep releasing them yearly, which kills the company.

Whichever one you blame seems rational to me, but I'd say It's the companies fault for trying to do that in the first place.
