disagree. developers finish a game and it goes gold about a month before a release date then they start producing copies of that game and the game arrives at retailers about a week before release. During that time developers had a full month to work on DLC... They can't exactly just add content to a game after it's gone gold. So why not have day 1 DLC. They had a full month to work on it afterall.

If it's content that's locked on the disc however, that's another story.  That is a total ripoff.
