My argument is as stated - unless you have a large amount of discretionary income, neither console is worth the price of admission right now. As already outlined in this thread, Resogun is clearly a good game. It is also not even close to utilising the extensive capabilities inherent in the hardware we all have to pay an awful lot of money for. I am inclined to believe that outside of the kinds of people who frequent these forums, the vast majority of the greater than 150 million people who purchase pricey home consoles care very much about the sorts of high profile big-budget titles they can purchase for their system. |
Well in this case I am sure many bought the PS4 because they know PS4 has the better version of most multiplats. COD@1080p instead of 720p, AC4@1080p/900p, BF4@900p/720p, the recent Trial Fusion 1080p/900p (almost 800p phew), the future Watchdogs 1080p/9??p etc. And judging by the stats about multiplats sales gamers know it too.
The only argument that is true is still "XB1 has more retail exclusives at launch". Is that still really a winning argument?
"Resogun...It is also not even close to utilising the extensive capabilities inherent in the hardware we all have to pay an awful lot of money for" sarcasm? Because you can't be serious.
