Do you agree with the poster in the sli forum that current cards don't need a x16 port, i.e. if the asus mobo does only run 16x8x is it really a problem?
EDIT: Decided to have a look on newegg's user comments and unless hordes of posters are involved in a plot to make me buy the wrong mobo it seems the Asus 750i is indeed 2x16x capable. It was limited to 2x8x until recently when a new bios version was released.
Anyway think that's my last PC dilemma solved so thanks for all your help!
