Sure,

Sony showed off more of the already anounced PS4 games: Infamous, Knack, Killzone SF, and DriveClub. (4)

They anounced a new exclusive the Order 1886. (1)

They showed off some Indy games with the main highlights being Octodad, and The Witness. (2)

They showed off expected 3rd party games like batman, and Assasin's creed, with a few surprises like FFXV and KH3, and talked about some PS3 games.

Microsoft talked more about already anounced Xbox One exclusives: Forza 5, and Quantum Break.   (2)

They showed off new AAA exclusives like Dead Rising 3, Ryse Son of Rome, Killer Instinct, Titanfall, Halo, and Sunset Overdrive.   (6)

They showed off some smaller exclusives like Crimson Dragon, Max CoB, and Below, as well as anouncing Minecraft for X1 (thought to be exclusive at the time).  (3)

They showed off strong 3rd party support with BF4 timed exclusive, MGS5 (unexpected), and The Witcher 3.

(Later on after breifing, EA showed PvZ: GW as X1 exclusive, and we saw Kinect Sports Rivals, powerstar golf, and Lococycle on the show floor.)

It is not so much that Sony had a bad conference or anything, its just that they had already anounced most of thier PS4 games at the PS4 reveal, and so they only had 1 new PS4 game to anounce.

Microsoft only showed 2 games at the reveal, so we go to see 6 new exclusive games at thier E3, as well as a console exclusive PvZ game at EA's press briefing.

Thanks.

I think it is clear that MS showed off more games for Xbox one than Sony did for PS4. But I'm going to argue the point anyway if that's ok.

1. You didn't list the plethora of indie games that Sony revealed. It is very safe to say that the PS4 is beating the X1 i.t.o indies at the moment. And while some 'gamers' scoff at indie games, the fact is that some indie games are better than fully fledged physical releases. Still, they aren't as important as the AAA stuff.

2. This is an important point. e3 2013 was before the PS4/X1 launch. So one has to look at a company's presentation as a whole. Sony showed tremendous support for PS3 even at that late point. This WILL translate to the PS4's when it's that late in its lifecycle. So "killing Sony" really should've been "X1 killing PS4".

3. Now, less than half a year after e3 2013, how many of those X1 games materialized? Has the "killing" as you labeled it translated into anything substantial in the subsequent years between e3s? I doubt it very much. So what one really should do, is take e3 2013 as a special case since it was before the launch of the consoles. e3 2014 is way more important. The consoles are in our hands and the post-launch drought will be forgotten soon.

But seriously, you think "MS killed Sony" at e3 2013?

Well, I said in terms of games alone they "killed" Sony.

If they had not anounced a high price point, and had all the DRM crap with bad PR on top of it, Xbox One would be in a much better place right now.

1.)  Yes they have a lot of indy games, but they only showed about 8 at E3, most of thoes indy games shown came later at Gamescom, PAX, and TGS.

2.)  X360 is still getting good support, 2013 was dry year because of X1 launch, and most of thier 1st party had released thier games in previous years, still, X360 got Gears Judgment, World of Tanks, Max, Lococycle, Titanfall, and Project Spark.  Thats still a lot less than the PS3 has gotten in the past year, however, at E3 Microsoft made a key anouncement that manny people seemed to have missed "For this next generation we have invested in 5 brand new 1st party studios".

Here is a list:

-Black Tusk (Gears)

-Team Dekota (Project Spark)

-Leap Experience Pioneers (Studio leaked, project unknown)

-Press Play (Max, Project Totem, Tentacles Into the Mind)

-[unanounced studio]

3.)  Yes, most materialized, a few flopped.

-Ryse, Lococycle, and Crimson dragon were flops (though a lot of the comunity likes Ryse)

-DR3, Killer Instinct, Titanfall, Forza 5, and PvZ GW are all good games, and have done fairly well on the Xbox One with 3 of them haveing sold over 1 Million. each.
