I think he has it wrong. Its not hype the PS4 has, but customer belief that Sony is gonna deliver games like they have with their past consoles.
Hype is when theres so much advertisement and PR pressure that the customer is convinced to make an impulse buy. I dont think thats what Xbox has to fight here. Actually, there is little hype for the PS4 atm, besides the sales numbers. I really havent seen much advertisment at all. Its almost like a ghost launch because there arent any consoles in the stores (sold out).
The medicine is right on the ball though. Thats what they have to do. Games.
