Some things i agree with and other i dont. Yes gaming does over sexualize things but this isnt a gaming problem at all. Its a people problem with both men and women. Sex sells. I also want to point out to many people getting offended shouldnt be. Women does have it more unfair than men as women are naturally viewed by their beauty so they have to take care of themselves more. But at the same time, and ive had this conversation with men and women friends before, a lot of the people complaining are lazy and just dont take care of themselves. Also women care about looks as well, and we can say no they dont but they do. Maybe not as much as men care but they do care. And for guys to look incredibly good, they have to put a shit ton of work into it. Are we going to call that sexist? No, they just try harder to look good is all. And that is one problem with this whole jelousy thing. A lot of people look good simplay because they put in the work to look good, while others dont look good because theyre lazy, over eat, and sit around. THough in some cases you are just born a certain way, that isnt the case for a lot of people. Lets just look at the overweight issues world wide and you can see that yourself.
Now for gaming. First off guys are usually designed to look good as well and instead of posting picture after picture we know this to be true. 2nd off again, women care for looks too, look at all the hollywood crushes from girls. Or how about watching American Idol where the votes are for the cutest boy rather than the most talented singer. Oh and dont even get me started on twilight with very possibly the worst actor ive ever seen in Taylor Lautner. Lets act horrible the entire movie and then take off my shirt.
Now as i said there is some things that is unfair for women and their is many gender roles that can be overly annoying. I will speak out about them and have done so in tha past by making threads about them. ANd yes sex symbols on tv like boobs being shown but not dicks can be unfair. But then again girls care about abs and chests which are shown on tv, and just like dicks arent shown on tv, vaginas arent really either. Its just one of those things that is crossing the line i suppose. Adding to that i really dont see how a dick can be appealing to a guy or woman. Maybe it feels pleasurable but theyre ugly and all its going to do is scare kids.
Anyways i could rant for another 12 paragraphs but ill stop here
