Only if you don't include DVD- and Blu-ray revenue, merchandising deals and licensing deals to Netflix, iTunes, Amazon and many international TV bradcasters.

Add that to the boxoffice-revenue and the profit margins explode.

Ah that makes sense. But last year when Sony was announcing their quarterly results, the experts said that this quarter was profitabe because it was helped a lot by Skyfall. Skyfall was just released, so it couldn't have already been making money from DVD and TV deals.
