This is Bizzare, and before everyone starts going down the X1 3rd party support doom train, may I remind you that it is still comming to Wii U, Mobile, and even the freakin 3Ds.
Not sure why they cancled the X1 version, but my guess is that it didn't pass certification, or mabye Microsoft saw how bad it looked and just decided that it would do more harm comming to Xbox One than good.
I'm just saying, there has been a lot of talk about how bad the PS4 version looks, and if the PS4 version looks bad, then I'm guessing the X1 version was probabally worse.
