Strangely enough this doesn't happen to my 360 controllers. They do get more play than my PS3, but I haven't touched either of them in a while (since Culdcept Saga) and just tested them and they work fine. Still plenty of charge left in both of them and one is even a good 6 months older than my PS3 controller. I suppose I'll just get a new one when the DS3 comes out (of course I was planning on doing that anyways). This is probably for the best, I was going to pick up and start playing the Lost game again. >_> |
well then you've probably shorted the battery due to lack of use lol. try fully charging it, then leaving it on charge (even when full) and then try discharging it by actively using it for game play for a prolonged period. if it can't last a while gaming session, then the battery is messed. you don't have to use the ps3 to charge the sixaxis by the way.
