Good, because Im telling OP to look at things logically (and a way of saving money), not trolling over the xbox one.

I still personally believe, being the owner of both of the systems, that neither one currently has the games, or the OS/firmware functionality to be worth the asking price.

You dont seem to follow, price of the IMMEDIATE purchase, is not an issue, thus the more expensive PS4 makes more sense - so if you decide, somewhere down the line you want to own both, you only need to buy the cheaper of the two.

Lol that makes zero sense.  History tells us the consoles will get price cuts broadly within the same six month period as each other for the next five years.

This is like getting a great deal on a house you can easily afford, and then saying 'here is an extra $50k, because I have it and am in a good mood.'

Just because he has extra cash doesn't mean he should spend more than he has too.  From a gaming perspective he made clear long ago the X1 has more to offer him...
