A noticeable improvement over the original, with better pacing and more varied gameplay
2. Sonic the Hedgehog 2
A bright, speedy sequel with larger levels and new moves
3. Super Mario Bros. 2
While it pales in comparison to 1 and 3, it's still a fun and quirky platformer with great boss battles
4. Jak II
Whereas Ratchet 2 improved on the formula, Jak II was a step backward
