I don't think games cost that much per se. They're certainly easier on the wallet than they were back in the late 90s when I first started buying my own games. Of course, even today $60 is a decent sum of money, and I'm not willing to buy every game brand new at full price, so for ones that I'm less sure about and don't consider must-buys, I'll wait until I can get it for cheaper. |
That is very misleading as it doesnt take into account how the salaries increased in relation. Besides, is that US or something? Its not representative of the whole world.
I am fairly sure that games today are hitting Sonic 3 like prices. Your pretty graphic tries to hide that but my wallet doesnt. Of course, those games were failed price experiments as sales plummeted as a result.
