I prefer to buy new but certainly not at full price. I believe that is too much. I think this mainly comes from PS2 era, it's when I could first afford games myself with my money (not just as gifts or parents buying them). Games at the time came out as RRP of £40, got reduced in cost competition with other shops to £30, new. Now games RRP are like £60, reduced in shops to £50, if you are lucky they'll go as low as £40.
That said, I wait until £25-£30 for a game I want, £15 (used mainly) for a game I'm casually interested in.
