Because while Nintendo has some fantastic exclusives like MK8 and SSB, Xbox has that AND a bunch of big multiplatform games that are going to help move systems. Sure MK8 and SSB are going to give the Wii U a "Titanfall like" boost to sales, but the Xbox One is going to get a lot of small boost every time Multiplats like WatchDogs, Wolfenstein, Destiny, Evolve, Cod, AC Unity, Batman Arkem Knight ect. comes out.
Sure you could argue that the PS4 will see bigger boost form Multiplatform titles, but If you want to compair the Wii U to the PS4, than you might want to account for Sony's 16 Studios making PS4 exclusives (in which case the PS4 would slaughter the wii U in compairison), and the X1 will get boost from these games regaurdless. And in adition to thoes small bumps, It will get some bigger boost from it's own exclusives such as Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, and the next Halo/HA2.
Of coarse you could argue that the Wii U has more games comming out like X, Bayonetta, or Zelda, but realistically thoes games are likely not even comming until next year, and even then, just how many consoles is a game like Beyonetta goiung to move?
So yeah, thats why people act like that is all the Wii U has because the other games don't have a release date and so many assume that they will all be next year, and it has practically no multiplatform support.
