I was expecting someone to say that. The 3DS is a system much more closed than the Vita. The 3DS doesnt connect to your PC and Wii U.  It doesnt let you download and store stuff from the internet (except for the ones Nintendo allows on the eshop). To allow the openess of all those extra features, the system has to be locked somewhere else. Otherwise, its door open to piracy and no one will be bringing their localisations over for sure.

Again, its alot of QQ over 20 euros... and alot of lazyness.

Hm... if that's true, then it's basically a choice between common SD cards/fewer tertiary features and proprietary memory cards/more tertiary features.

I think it is. Though i would call them secondary and not tertiary. Though the storing of and exchange of content between your platforms, especially the PC is incredibly useful (for example you can transfer videos you downloaded on the internet and watch them on your vita when you're in bed). The browser is extremely useful as is the Youtube streaming on a bigger screen than the 3DS.

I have both mind you, not dissing the 3DS by any means. But to say the proprietary cards are the reason why people dont buy the Vita isnt convincing to me. If theres games (with widestream appeal), more people will buy it.
