I think the UK does follow US trends more than Europe so even though the xbone has totally failed in mainland Europe the stronger influence to the UK is what is happening in the USA.
In some ways there is a collective shared core culture between the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Not just the language but many other areas of society.
My point is the success of xbone in the USA is far more important to us than the failure of xbone in mainland Europe. The UK loves gaming, its the largest gaming market in Europe, even larger than Germany I believe despite the much smaller population. Probably all that rain we get.
If the xbox one starts to fail in the USA you'll probably find like a house of cards the other 4 english speaking countries will follow that pattern.
