I went for FFXV too. Nomura said they were worried by Bluray's limits back when it was still called Versus

I wouldn't be surprised if FFXV comes on 3 disks and use it as a selling point. It wouldn't be too hard to fill that with fmv and uncompressed sound as I don't expect them to shell out for h.265 encoding or DTS HD ma licensing. Probably some old video format throwing tons of bandwidth at it to get good quality 1080p60 fmv. FF13 and KZ3 used Bink video instead of the readily available h.264 codec.
