Overall attandance mabye because most baseball stadiums hold over twice as many people and they have twice as many games but when it comes sellouts and near sellouts per game the NBA is way ahead as for overseas popularity the NBA is also way ahead. My guess is that the NBA is more poplar just in China then the MLB is the entire rest of the world outside North America.

lol NO that's one country in which not all their citezens have access to it. Second most popular sports in the ALL of latin America is Baseball behid Soccer. Baseball is the biggest sport in Japan.
Wow you have no clue the NBA is hugely popular in China. Baseball might be the biggest sport in Japan but the MLB still isn't very popular there since they got their own league.
None of the systems are in the Chinese market, so yeah....
MLB is not a system seller no matter how you look at it a game that always sells less then a million units is not a system seller the only sports games that are system sellers are FIFA, NBA 2K and Madden and all of those are multi platform.

No one (except the OP) claimed that The Show is a system seller. The fact that the MLB 2K series is no longer around gives The Show access to a much larger fanbase. The game will definitely sell some PS4 units in the United States, especially when the X1 doesn't have anything new when The Show releases.
You clearly misinterpreted what other people said about The Show's impact.
