Making it a sausage fest to piss off their most loyal fan is what I call bold.
OT: These are giant corporations. There are no real bold moves. All outcomes are calculated. In economic terms a real bold move would be utter stupidity. The only distinction between courage and stupidity is success.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
