This is how Democrats and so-called progressives view blacks, as a commodity to be held by their party for the purposes of gaining power. She wields them as a political cudgel towards the Repubs.

I'll never understand how the party of the KKK, Jim Crow and segregation became the champion of the modern day black American. And they are even allowed to besmirch blacks who choose to leave the Democratic plantation in favor of self reliance and individual freedoms without being called racist. Democrats are often given a pass. If a Repub had said this would not only be on VGcharts in a forum the NAACP, ACLU, CBC, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, et al would all be calling for his/her head. But let a Democrat say it and its not worth the time or is somehow acceptable.

Larry Elder posted a great article today that I feel is apropos to this topic and highlights one the greatest con jobs to have ever been perpetrated on an entire group of human beings.

I think when you look at the modern republican stances on social issues it's easy to see why the vast majority of black people are democrats.

Here's a pro tip: Black people don't like being called entitled by rich white republicans.

...they'd rather be entititled without being called it? so what, they dont feel guilty or something?

What if a poor black republican calls them that?

it seems more insulting to say, they cant make it on their own, and need money confiscated from someone who earned it and given to them unearned.

I don't know what to tell you man. I mean my dad is a black conservative so I know all the conservative arguments. He said the same thing to me once, and if a politican can't figure out why a poor black man (sticking with the welfare example) doesn't like being told he is too entitled and that he wants too much free stuff, while simultaneously defending rich businessmen and claiming that they don't have it good enough -- then there's no hope of ever getting the black vote.

It has everything to do with the fact that black people tend to have liberal values and like liberal policies and conservatives just can't offer them anything because they're too busy protecting big business. It's just a fundemental difference in ideology going on.
