Are there "racists" in both parties? Sure there are. I can see the many trees. But it is the policies that the Democratic party as a whole and its silent undercurrent of racism and racialism that I am referring to. Everything comes down to race for them. If you oppose the POTUS on policy, you're a racist. If feel that race based preferences are wrong, you're a racist. If you are against a bloated in-efficient government that taxes everything and many times more than once, you're a racist. If you oppose statutory minimum wages (which often hurt black employment), you’re a racist. If you are for school choice (which has allowed disenfranchised inner city black youth to attend better schools) and against powerful teachers unions, you are a racist.
It is the obvious double standards that exist and how when a Repub says something like this they are (and rightly so) excoriated and trumpeted out of their office or place of work etc. While Democrats are given a pass because they are for big government where the entitlements and welfare flow. Never mind that the policies they support public schools, welfare, abortion, gun control, amnesty (I'll leave out the past policies of Jim Crow, Poll-Taxes, etc. etc. as that is in the link of my original post), all have had or are having a negative impact on blacks in this country, not to mention the many others who subscribe to their redistribution policies.
Democrats in charge (I know some great Democrats and I often scratch my head at them when they often don't even agree with a lot of their own party's policies) have done their level best and have largely succeeded in creating division, envy, discontentment and fostered outright hatred between the many in this country. Divide and conquer so to speak.
Then you have prominent (and in my humble opinion some of the smartest intelligent human beings we have in this country, regardless of race) black men and women in Clarence Thomas, Condoleezza Rice, Tim Scott, Mia Love, Thomas Sowell, Larry Elder, Herman Caine, Alan West, Alan Keyes, Michael Steele, J.C Watts have all been called some of the most vile names by Democrats both black and white because they chose not to toe the line and be a part of the monolith that is black liberalism/progressivism.
