This is how Democrats and so-called progressives view blacks, as a commodity to be held by their party for the purposes of gaining power. She wields them as a political cudgel towards the Repubs.

I'll never understand how the party of the KKK, Jim Crow and segregation became the champion of the modern day black American. And they are even allowed to besmirch blacks who choose to leave the Democratic plantation in favor of self reliance and individual freedoms without being called racist. Democrats are often given a pass. If a Repub had said this would not only be on VGcharts in a forum the NAACP, ACLU, CBC, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, et al would all be calling for his/her head. But let a Democrat say it and its not worth the time or is somehow acceptable.

Larry Elder posted a great article today that I feel is apropos to this topic and highlights one the greatest con jobs to have ever been perpetrated on an entire group of human beings.

Democrats, Republicans and every other political party that has ever existed.  And not just blacks, but any categorical subset that votes.  You know this, but it's hard to see the forest for the trees for many.

Well, not so much Republicans, if only because they don't really have any small categorial subsets to their own.

Not that it actually makes it any better, since they'd just do the same if they had some groups.

Well Cubans maybe.

It's funny (well sad) too, because said groups never actually get anything.

The Women's pay gap is in the news again,  Democrats are suddenly talking about closing it... why?   Elections.

Really, all the OP shows to me is that racism is more prevelent then people think, and by focusing on specific groups, and the more outwordly racist, all it does is foster an ability for one to ignore their own racist thoughts and actions.
