The beginning of a new gen (or the first year) often sucks but there's usually something that lets you know the future has arrived! SSX on PS2, Mario on N64, Call of Duty 2 on Xbox 360--something that blows away the previous gen. Wii U launched with old 7th gen games and when the "real" 8th gen consoles arrived, they haven't done much better. Ryse, Forza, Killzone?
