I agree with the author of the op. A game like Beyond looks better, to me, than anything I've experienced so far on PS4 and Xbox One. It feels like the two "next gen" consoles have actually LOST features that the 7th gen consoles have. The controllers have improved and there's a couple of new (kinda useless) tricks like Game DVR and.....I can't think of anything else. The 8th gen just feels like a repeat of 7th gen with higher resolution. Yeah, I love Titanfall but that game felt like it could be a 7th gen game (and it IS!).
Never have I seen such a small leap and they've had since 2005 (2004 if you count the DS) to come up with new ideas for this gen. Have we reached the plateau?
