The first year of the first console (let's not kid ourselves with the Wii U) is always completely dry.
Probably not to this extent because publishers were afraid the industry was about to collapse, but not that far off either. Owning the 360 that first year was pure shit aside from Geometry Wars. I mean, honestly, the PS4 probably already has it better with Infamous being a legitimately good AAA exclusive and a fair amount of good multiplats, and the One has had it better since launch with Dead Rising and Forza.
