The only upside imo is that the lack of releases makes people try out new games they wouldn't have otherwise, like inFamous. But I think I made the right descision not getting a PS4 yet after getting a Wii U at launch and not turning it on for months at a time. |
It all depends on your situation to me buying the PS4 at launch was the right move. I've already got a backlog filling up and that does not in anway include the indie titles just retail. Still working on beating Thief,Infamous, and Rayman Legends. Thief is espicially hard because I'm doing full stealth no one can see me and I can't touch anyone so it's taking a long time. I love it though I love hardcore stealth like that it's rare to see these days.
Then I also have BF4 that I'm playing inbetween the other two as well. I just don't have the sort of time some people do to play games. I only get one really good day to play for hours and hours and that's only every other week. The rest of the time I work and then I go home and workout. After that I have an hour max to play games. That's if I skip watching any of my TV shows.
