By the sound of the article the church doesn't appear to be asking for any money from the game they just don't want their church which is in an area with what they consider a gun problem associated with gun fighting fictional or not. I mean don't know where the realigious part even comes into play in this its like someone said you don't want your house depicted negativly in a game expecially if you have some public image to uphold. As to what to do about it I'd say the demand to remove it from shelves probably won't hold up they could probably get an apology and a name change put on the church in any further production of the game as that wouldn't really be much of a programming change.
