Mario Kart is arguably Nintendo's largest IP. You are saying Super Smash Bros., which is possibly not even among Nintendo's Top Three IPs, will make more of a difference than Mario Kart? That makes complete sense.

Also, how much do you plan the Wii U will increase due to these games in general? "Taking it home" is possibly the most broad prediction I've seen. That could mean these games would fail and take the Wii U back to the trash.
