Not a good comparison, since those two games were multiplatform, and TLOU was an exclusive, leaving many people out of the loop.

And this discussion is basically a repeat of TR debate. These types of releases are aimed mainly at the people who haven't played the game. If you have already played it, there is no reason to buy it again, and you are not the target market for it.


Most people who has a ps4 likely had a ps3.

And that is my point.  Tomb Raider hasnt all that much on XBO/PS4 primarily because the people who wanted it, already got it


There are a lot that never had ps3's who have ps4's, like it or not many did switch early this gen, I know many and every game forum has people excited for TLOU because they had a 360 only last gen. Anecdotal yes but there is obviously quite a few non ps3 gamers going ps4.
