I don't understand why you're in denial over this. Even if you didn't like those tracks initially, they're gonna get revamped in Mario Kart 8. Just look at N64 Rainbow Road. I despised the original track in MK64, but now it looks pretty awesome and I can't wait to race on it! ^_^

the course wasn't shown so it's not confirmed. simple as that.

It was shown, just in text only. Did you not see the pic I just posted? That confirms it's in the game, just like how it confirmed Dolphin Shoals and Shy Guy Falls would be in the game aswell, which they are.
