Even japanese was easier to learn by myself... i don't know if it's beause of the language who is extremely hard or school teaching in my country...hmm...maybe it's both.

I took two years of Spanish and a year of German and my German is infinitely better (nowhere near native speaker mind you).  Maybe it is because I have such affection for it, but it makes sense to me where as Spanish I struggled to even make basic conversation.
