why so much defense for kinect?
Its yet to prove it self after all these years. Molyneux may be questioning its bundling situation, but I question its existance.
It hasnt improved any gameplay mechanic in any genre. All its done is reduce accuracy of human input, and make developers add extra assists to their games. Depending on how the assists are implemented, the games are either too frustrating or too easy.
Secondly, voice command has been done for many years before kinect, that is also an add-on which hasnt proved itself. Its a cool oncept when you see how slick it can be in films, but in real life it never works that well and thats why software companies are not even trying and consumers are not interested in it, not only for gaming but for general use as well on computers and mobiles. Siri is also a joke and so is google voice search since the average input time compared to technology like swype is much faster.
