There's a lot of information in this thread that I don't know if I believe and am not sure that I'd want to... thank you for that twesterm.

It was probably wrong of me to assume that a man was responsible for that mess without actually knowing but the toilet seat was up and the part below it was covered in urine. I felt pretty safe in my assumption.

I'd guess you're right about that, with the actual rim of the toilet covered in urine.

People in general are nasty to me. On my job we work with chemicals, unclean water, grime, soot, etc. and you wouldn't believe how many of the guys don't wash their hands before eating. I've noticed many of them laying their sandwiches on the community lunch tables that are visibly filthy(people rest their feet on them all the time). One thing that drives me nuts is seeing people sneeze or cough into the palm of their hand, them shake hands with someone, use a phone, grab a doorknob, etc. There was even a guy at work reading a magazine we had laying around, and when he sneezed he pulled the magazine to his face. I felt like slapping the tar out of him. I once approached a guy from behind, tapped his shoulder and had my hand extended for a handshake as he turned around...he was picking his nose and then tried to shake my hand with the hand he was picking with.

You might think I'm insane(you may be right), but since I started being more conscious of germs and constant handwashing a few years ago I have hardly been sick. Usually when I do get sick it's after someone else in the house gets sicks first, then spreads it to me.
