They really didn't have much on stage in terms of exclusive content. The bulk of their PS4 show consisted of AC4, Watch Dogs, FFXV, Destiny, and of course that KH3 snippet. Multiplats all around. While i do think its important Sony has a strong E3...they are probably the least in need of it. Given the sales and momentum of the PS4 they probably wont be too bothered if they have a weaker E3.
Imo, this is the best time to have a really strong E3 for Sony. And continue the PS4 hype and momentum. Asserting further dominance in the current generation landscape.
Knowing Sony, who usually fails to take advantage of a good situation, they will probably not go all out this year.
