Actually I am both a SP and MP. I was simply suggesting the timing matters more for MP. If I pick up MW3 now, it will be much harder to matchmake and find quality matches vs. Ghosts, since people move on to the new one.
With SP, it almost doesn't matter. I can pick up a game a year or more later an enjoy it just as much. Don't have to worry about the amount of online playlists, etc.
You can rest assured, Sony does a great job with the SP experience, hence why I will own the PS4 shortly.
