and i'd bet person that gets named the most is Hulk Hogan.
If your looking for a "Total Package" (apologies to ric flair) you probably can't beat Ric Flair.
People like to bag on Hogan and Cena's wrestling skills, but Austin and Rock weren't exactly amazing technical wrestlers either.
and honestly, I only mention rock because people have and will mention him.
Rock was a second Banana to Austin who only outshone him when Austin was out.
I'd place Randy Savage over Rock any day of the week. Savage was both better on the mike, better technically... he just had even less room to shine because he was opposed Hulk Hogan.
Bret Hart was an amazing technical wrestler but he wasn't great on the mike. The anti-american stuff worked good, but it also worked well for Ivan Koloff.
Shawn Michaels had the tools to be up there but squandered them, and really never was at the very top. Same for his running partner Trips.
