All of my consoles are on the same tv stand just a few inches apart. It's defintely a strange issue you're having. Well I guess both of us since its the same for me, just reverse.
Maybe a better router could help, though nothing else has an issue in my livingroom. All the other consoles, smart tv and tablet/phone work just fine, never drop connection.
