Trust me, I felt the same way a few days ago and was spending bue orbs like crazy (mostly renting very expensive spirits). Once your spirits level up a bit, you'll be out of blue orbs in no time. Leveling a creature from level 30 to 31 with 5 spirits takes around 2000 orbs. If you do it for a while, you'll run out. Use the blue orbs only when you have to, because you will need them later.
